Below decks on Sun Shine 38, one gets the feeling that the touch of class and the comfort of the saloon are out do each other. The light flooding in through the numerous ports illuminates the oiled-teak woodwork and highlights the superb match of the materials used. Sun Shine 38 is built following Jeanneau's hard-and-fast formula: lay-up by hand, stratification work by hand, bulkheads sealed into the hull and deck. Inner mouldings, uniquely for finishing purposes, form no part of the boat's structure. Sun Shine 38's hull is built using Aramat K, stratified glass/Kevlar composite which affords double resistance to shock of simple glass stratification.
