Sun Light 30

Sun Light 30

The creation of the Sun Light 30 is the answer to a new image of the cruising vocation and of water-borne holidays on sailboat of under 9 metres (30') The Sun Light 30 is first and foremost fine cruise sailboat which has inherent those all too important features which make for a maximum of comfort in life aboard. Her teak woodwork meets the highest demands. Each individual unit has been the object of detailed study: navigation station and galley, washroom head with subdued coloured inner moulded units, shower basin; all lend their own touch of elegance to the personality of the Sun Light 30. Light, as her name pretends, is omnipresent below decks on the Sun Light 30. Its flood in through no less than 8 ports. For the first time a sailboat 9 metres in length, the Sun Light 30 is based around the 3-area notion: forward cabin, saloon, aft cabin and washroom/head with headroom in 2/3 below decks. The building-in of the interior units into the hull forms is particularly well-done. The Sun Light, 2 appointment versions: Owner's with 6 berths, galley facing the saloon and huge washroom/head. Team with 7 berths, settee facing the saloon and L-shaped galley. A family sailboat (four plus two or four plus three) affording increased comfort and well-being. The character of Sun Light 30 can be discerned in her elegant silhouette, her sleek bows, a modern hull which is so pure that never for one moment is the balance of its lines in slightest doubt. The deck layout is a first-rate success, the coach roof leading gently down each side. Discreet panels, set slightly lower down, run each side of the coach roof from the companionway where they support the sliding hatch; these panels refine the design and give it its personality.
Numerous refinements and crafty touches makes for a greater savoir-vivre aboard the Sun Light 30: the open forward pulpit in two parts, the completely teak-slatted cockpit,, the platform built-into the transom, the locker with stowage for the life-raft thus freeing the cockpit seating. All are points which ally safety and attractiveness.
