Like the JOD 35, the JOD 24 offers a cockpit designed to give the best competitive performance:  spacious, ergonomic design, and perfectly non-skid.  Hull-mounted shrouds permit easy access forward via wide, level sidedecks.  For optimal comfort while hiking, the tow rail is completely absent.  The cockpit can be entirely open on the transom or enclosed using the cover on the aft storage locker. The JOD 24 loves competition, any competition... to satisfy its appetite for regattas and sailing fast, the operations for launching and removal of the mast have been reduced to a minimum:  the mast is deck-stepped with a quick adjustment system, the 7/8ths rigging is self-supported, a kit for quick stepping of the mast is optional, and of course, it can easily be transported anywhere on a simple and specially adapted trailer. Bright and airy, the large interior space is perfectly organised, with 4 berths and central storage compartments.  An optional galley allows for spending multiple days on board.
