THE ANSWER IS THEY WON!!!
Sun Fast 3600 MISTER LUCKY was one of the smallest yachts in the 2017 Sydney Hobart 102 boat fleet but they won their class ORCi 4, in a nail biting finish. Congratulations to Mark Hipgrave, the owner of MISTER LUCKY, Mark's son Alex and the rest of the crew: our MD Nigel Colley, Rob Graigie, Deb Fish, Paul Brant, and Ian Hoddle; all Sun Fast 3600 and Sun Fast 3200 owners back in the UK.
It just goes to show that despite all being avid solo sailors and enthusiastic members of SORC (the UKs Solo Offshore Sailing Club) when the chips are down all that expertise can be channeled to produce a winning team performance.
Now we just hope Nigel comes back from Australia sometime soon....we are worried he is having too much fun down there!
